Construction at Rocking Horse Farm keeps humming along, and the latest rumbling involves work on the streets.
Griffin Construction started on several key areas of the street that will be the main entry road from 52nd Avenue leading to and around the farmstead office park. Considered Phase I of the project, this section should be completed with curb and asphalt by mid September. Then around October 15, the balance of the streets servicing about 81 of the community’s first 134 single-family residential lots will be paved during Phase II of construction. These lots are basically west of the farmstead office park and south of the pond in the community’s northwest corner.
The remainder of the street construction is slated for completion by July 2016. However, the first 81 home sites are still expected to be ready for builders by mid October 2015.
