With 7.85 inches of rainfall, the Fargo area experienced its wettest May in more than 121 years of record keeping by the Monitoring Branch of NOAAS National Centers for Environmental Information. Despite all the moisture, however, the underground construction for Rocking Horse Farm’s Second Addition is about a month ahead of schedule.
To help overcome the heavy rain, Dakota Underground crews worked very long days and weekends installing storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water pipe into the 134-lot subdivision. Home building sites are expected to be ready for builders by mid October.
