Ground broken for Rocking Horse Farm Machine Shed office building within the Farmstead Office Park

Although winter has taken firm hold of the region, construction remains steady at Rocking Horse Farm. In fact, ground was broken December 19 on the newest addition to the Farmstead Office Park, which will offer customizable lease space for Fargo-area businesses.

The Machine Shed is an 8,640-square-foot, one-story office building designed to mesh with the office park's "farmstead" theme. It joins two buildings currently in the office park: The 13,000-square-foot White Barn, as well as the 8,500-square-foot Red Barn. Both buildings are leased by various businesses, including Doosan/Bobcat and The Promersberger Company.

When complete, the Machine Shed will have capacity for up to seven, 1,234-square-foot rental units. However, the entire 8,640-square-foot building can be configured to accommodate different size spaces, such as 2,468, 3,702, 4,936-square-feet, etc. There will be separate outside entrances to each lease space.

The building shell is expected to be complete by April 15, 2017, with fit-up space available for occupancy around June 15. Roers Construction is the general contractor. Drew Kelly and Tony Paul of Goldmark Commercial Real Estate are the leasing agents.
